I think I have read 14 of those. I'm curious why Hamlet is listed, after the Complete Works Of Shakespeare is already listed. And I highly recommend saving Moby Dick to the end of your reading list. I just finished it, and was highly disappointed with the book.
There are several books on this list that I feel I should have read...but I have a feeling they will be more in the category of your Moby Dick experience. Some books are only good when you are in an academic setting and discussing them or the professor is bringing out some point about them...but they are not good pleasure reads!
You can mark me down as your least intelligent friend. As I"ve only read 7 and about 2-3 of those were for high school. :) I'm just into different kinds of books than are in this category. But I feel as though maybe I should read a few of these.
:)
Most of my list I also read in highschool/college! I highly suggest the book The Time Travelers Wife. It is one of my very favorites!
I've read 26 of the books, and have attempted to read 9. Those 9 I put down because I just could NOT get into them. And there is one that I will NEVER read, and that is the Five People You Will Meet in Heaven. I can't believe it is on this list next to classics like Jane Eyre (my favorite book BTW)!
42 for me- Cyndi
Cyndi - We all bow down to you. That's totally crazy. In a cool way.
I knew Cyndi would put us all to shame! She is a voracious reader!
