A fall visit to Palo Alto

This weekend I visited my friends Beth and Richard who live in Palo Alto, CA.


One activity we did was to attend the pumpkin festival at Half Moon Bay. Notice the HUGE pumpkin in the background that "Farmer Mike" is carving.


The three of us went to Pillar Point Bay.


While there a seal suddenly crawled out of the ocean and flopped on the beach to rest.


We also wandered around Standford, near Beth's job and where Richard is a post-doc. We went on a little hike while on campus around "The Dish"
