The chief of psychology from the West LA Veterans Hospital just called. He said that he was turning in paperwork to Human Resources, and that he thought I'd be "very pleased" with the outcome. He couldn't give me any details, since a job offer has to go through the official channels, but I'm feeling hopeful that things are going to work out well. He said I should hear from HR within 3-4 days.
