Beth and Richard come to LA

Beth and Richard (friends from Cleveland) came to visit me! Richard's sister, Caroline, was interviewing at UCLA so they met her, and we all hung out together for the weekend.


The first night, right off the bat, we went down to Hollywood to take a look at the walk of stars and Grauman's Chinese Theater where everyone famous has stuck there hands in cement.


We also drove on Mulholland Drive to look at the city lights.


On Saturday we went to Venice Beach...ahhhh, sun.


Dinner was at Beacon, a Asian fusion restaurant...fun and trendy.


Sunday was brunch in Beverly Hills with a bit of shopping.


We finished off the weekend tour with a trip to the Griffith Park Observatory, which has terrific views of the city and lots of fun science stuff!
