This is one of the most encouraging news stories I've read in a long time. It is a story about how De Beers (the famous diamond purveyors) are using the power of their company to help change African nations for the better. Instead of just pillaging Africa for her resources, they are actually operating out of a business model that balances corporate social responsibility with profit-making. Imagine if more companies would take this stance when operating in poor nations...
